Bages

Baix Llobregat
The most densely populated of the regions in Barcelona with 600,000 inhabitants, Baix Llobregat is adjacent to the Barcelonès region and many of its towns are part of the urban extension of the city of Barcelona.. Bergueda
Situated in the northernmost area of the Barcelona province Bergueda was the first area in Spain to be industrialised in the 19th century. Garraf
The southernmost region of Barcelona, consisting of the Garraf mountains inland and part of the Costa Dorada. Garraf’s capital is the fishing port of Vilanova I La Geltrú. Sitges is the major resort town in the Garraf, a self-styled gay capital and a frenetic party town. Inland, the pace of life is quieter. Maresme

Osona

A large inland region, Vallès Oriental is part of the same pre-coastal depression as Vallès Occidental. There is much industrial development in the area due to its proximity to Barcelona and good road links.
